Bus Stop Shinkov

The bus stop designed by arch. Liubomir Shinkov was built before more than 40 years. It is located near the swimming complex in “Dianabad” district. The initial idea for the restoration of the bus stop in its original design came from our partners from Morphocode. Inspired by the idea TRANSFORMATORI and Morphocode organized an event held on the 1st of May 2011. The initiative was agreed with the local representatives from the city council and was realized with private financing and work. In the event took part many friends and volunteers, as well as occasional passengers. This small action is a demonstration of respect to our architectural heritage. In Sofia there are many more beautiful things, we just need our eyes and heart, in order to see and take care of them..
