For the forum of innovative ideas TEDxBG 2014 was chosen the emblematic for Sofia- “Bulgaria” Hall. The theme of the event was “The Modern Absurd” and the task of “Transformatori” Association was to create places for the meals and rest between the lectures.
The solution is a bunch of 50 standard wooden staircases and a range of waterproof panels, which we arranged on the pedestrian part of the street “Aksakov” in front of the entrance for the event.
The pack allows different functional arrangements of the elements as a bench, a table, a bar, an uplifted private table, indicating arrow-like elements, a shelf. However, the project allows a lot more variations and ways of usage. After the event one of the packs was given for the arrangement of a temporary library in “Dianabad” district, Sofia.
